I love this little radio with big clear sound. It is just what I wanted for my kitchen. I have our local classical station playing whenever I am home. I love to cook for the week on Sunday and this is the perfect addition to my routine. It tunes in clearly and easily, it is obvious that this is a well-made product. Proud to have on display!

I’ve had this radio. When I moved to a more rural location I have a lot of trouble bringing in radio stations. Any tips?

Thanks for your review, and sorry to hear about this trouble with your Model One. Radio reception is a finicky thing, and changes from place to place. It is not uncommon to find you have reception issues in more rural areas with a small table radio. Sometimes in situations like yours we recommend the external antennas of a company called Terk. excellent on most scores, but too much bass, and it's impossible to regulate it i listen to music a good bit,
and sometimes it amounts to distortion. sometimes bass speaking voices sound fuzzy.
is there any remedy?
also, a remote controller would be very nice.
