Tivoli Audio in the news
Tivoli Audio’s NetWorks Global Music System has been rewarded with the iF Product Design Award 2009 in the category of Audio/Video. The prestigious international design prize is awarded in 16 different categories. This contest is one of the worlds’ leading design competitions, organized by the International Forum Design in Hannover (Germany), with a history of over 50 years. Market observation, close contact with the experts, early recognition of new trends and their reception — these are the essential strengths of the iF product design awards. This international competition is geared to all entrepreneurs, designers and manufacturers who are dedicated to high-quality design and eager to communicate this fact. Products are evaluated on design quality, workmanship, choice of material, degree of innovativeness, environmental compatibility, functionality, ergonomics, visualization of use, safety, brand value/branding and universal design. "The iF product design award has rewarded high quality design that is more than a mere shell. iF stands for all of these facets of outstanding design." – Ralph Wiegmann, iF Managing Director This year 802 products have been awarded. The awards ceremony announcing the winners of the 50 iF gold awards will take place on March 3, 2009, the opening day of CeBIT. All winning products will be on public display at the Hanover exhibition grounds. The exhibition will run until August and around 300,000 international visitors are expected.
