This is a very good internet radio. It is not tricky with special codes as it works out of the box. The menu options take some practice to get used to. With wifi it is easy for set up. An on line I phone menu app would help for fast access to many stations but it is not available. The remote is needed for functioning many options on this radio. Blue tooth added would be nice. I was surprised but for quick access to favorite stations the five presets are adequate. The radio is worth its salt because the sound is excellent. I added the extra speaker later so stereo is superb. I also have it set up to a home stereo so as a tuner the radio is flawless. The radio makes a noticeable low noise ticking sound in operation but as a tuner to the home stereo I do not hear it amplified. I use it a lot alone as a radio. To be able to hear all my favorite Classical stations with out hiss makes the radio a good choice. it is better than squeezebox for sound but it won't get Pandora and tune in radio. It gets the stations that your computer offers. It is a tremendous radio for what it is designed to do. I wanted a radio that would play internet radio stations that are similar to what my computer offers, but I wanted it in a stand alone radio,Networks is such a device. Buy Sonos if you want subscription internet radio such as Tune in Radio and Pandora,do not buy this radio. Actually if you can afford it have a squeezebox or Grace radio because they could be played through networks aux input as that would give you the advantage of the fine sound of Networks.
