Overview

The SongBook® AM/FM alarm clock travel radio makes it easy to bring high-fidelity sound with you, wherever you go. “Ideal for both beach and beach house, this warm-sounding, splash-proof hybrid functions as an alarm clock, AM/FM radio, and iPod speaker. Plug in the book-size device at night, and by morning its six rechargeable AAs will have enough juice to run all day.” (Men’s Journal)

The SongBook radio easily fits in a briefcase. The user-friendly panel offers five station preset buttons, a backlit LCD, and digital alarm and sleep functions. It can run on either an external power supply or six AA batteries; it even recharges NiMH/NiCAD rechargeable batteries* while plugged in. The SongBook radio’s weather-resistant, high-gloss or rubberized case comes in a wide range of colors. But, like all Tivoli Audio® products, the operative word is audio. “The SongBook is one amazing portable clock radio. As a matter of fact, it’s an amazing radio period. I’ve even plugged it into my home hi-fi system and used it as an FM tuner. It sounds that good.” (MSNBC)

As with all Tivoli Audio products, the SongBook AM/FM Travel Radio is compatible with iPod and other players. Take the music with you, wherever you go.

An external FM antenna and external AC power supply are included. One year warranty. Offered in your choice of colors.

    Love my Songbook!

I have many radios, but I use and prefer this one above all others. Pleasing sound, attractive design. Tip for keeping the rubberized case clean: use Scotch tape to clean off the dust!

    good radio

i have owned these radios for a decade or so, they always sound good in the room whether im playing quiet dinner muzak, popular rock, news/NPR, or even my daughter's raucous iPod playlists. it looks good on the shelf without screaming I AM A PRODUCT FROM BESTBUY/WALMART. the only thing that ever happened is the soft rubberized finish went gooey after 5 or so years.... BUT, the Tivoli folks replaced it with a new glossy one (for a fee that is greatly less than a new one) so i still call it 5 stars for quick, thoughtful customer service!!!

Best FM/AM Portable on the Market

I have bought SIX of these and have kept three and gifted a few friends. The sound is superb, the design is simple and it's easy to use. It feels great in the hand and is the perfect companion. The rechargeable battery option is the ONLY way to go and the plug-in-the-wall-to-charge feature rocks! I LOVE THIS RADIO!!! The ONLY caveat, the rubberized cases are hard to keep clean, and, in one instance, my black rubberized surface radio got sticky and unmanageable after a couple of years. I recommend the new Hi-Gloss instead!

SB: SongBook Radio - Good little item

Overall it's a good little item. The clock could be bigger. Would like to have had a push button on off switch.

SB: SongBook Radio - great radio

This radio is great for travel. I always take it with me on the road, it is so much better than motel clock radios. Sound is good. alarm is good. I can listen to my iPod with it. I also purchased some rechargeable batteries and the radio charges them up when I plug it into an outlet so the batteries are always charged up...awesome idea.

SB: SongBook Radio - wonderful sport radio

I have a desk radio, an iPal, and a SongBook. I have given 2 SongBooks as graduation gifts to my neices. The SongBook is the Tivoli radio I use in the most varied situations: I travel with it, use on my porch, etc. It puts out GREAT sound, has very long battery life, & seems very durable. I love it.
